According to the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale, or the International Air Sports Federation, canopy piloting involves a series of tasks designed to test a parachutist’s ability to control his canopy and fly accurately. The 6th Space Operations Squadron executed primary command and control of DMSP operations during the April 15-19, 2013 Continuity of Operations exercise here. This included nineteen traditional reservists during annual tour days to participate in the event.
