Sponsorship Training is available online at My Training Hub (opens in new window). Please complete your initial training online, visit the Airman & Family Readiness Center for additional training courses, and to create a sponsor packet. Sponsor Packets include maps, Colorado Springs and Denver Directories, School District Information, Spouse Employment Opportunities, Housing Networks and more. The Airman & Family Readiness Center staff is available to answer any questions and provide specific sponsorship material for your move.
Moving Made Simple/Going Overseas
Relocating is a way of life for military, DoD civilians and family members. Our Moving Made Simple/Going Overseas program is designed to help reduce the stress and uncertainty often associated with moving. Individual appointments are available for those wanting to obtain additional information for the area they are relocating to and to feel comfortable with the relocation process. Information reviewed includes Military Installations, Plan My Move, Housing Networks, JPPSO/TMO, Finance, School Enrollments and more.
Right Start Newcomer’s Orientation
A day of briefings held in building 300 auditorium from 0800-1530 the third Thursday of each month that introduces military members, DoD civilians and spouses to Schriever Air Force Base. Our Wing Commander opens the day with a Mission Brief and Welcome Remarks, followed by presentations from Security Forces, Safety, Legal, SARC, 21 Medical Group and more. An information fair is incorporated into the newcomer’s orientation and includes Tricare, Military & Family Life Consultants, Public Affairs, Child Care Services, Chaplains and more.
