WEATHER ALERT Schriever AFB normal reporting for April 11, 2019

As of 0400 MT, and after a careful assessment of current weather and road conditions on and off base, Schriever Air Force Base will be open, and all personnel are expected to report on time. It remains very windy out, but visibility is clear. 

CDOT has confirmed roadways in and around Colorado Springs are open and remain GREEN. Roads on base are GREEN. 

Both D20 and D49 are currently on a two-hour delay; however Ellicott School district is currently reporting on time. 

As always, weather safety conditions vary widely across the area, so individuals with specific commuting concerns should contact their respective leadership if there is a need for more time this morning to travel to the base.  Be safe!
