SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. --

Summer can be the perfect chance to organize a party and invite family, friends and wingmen to enjoy a good time, but getting all the necessary equipment can be costly.

Knowing this, the 50th Force Support Squadron's Outdoor Recreation office team now offers party packs.

Josiah Howard, 50 FSS Outdoor Recreation, helps customers pick and customize their party packs depending on their needs.

“The idea behind a party pack is to create a bundle of items that we have seen are commonly picked up for parties,” Howard said. “This solution allows the customer to save a little bit of money by picking up items in bulk.”

For Julie Jim, 50th FSS director of ODR, the party packs meet the demand for a more structured menu of options for renting party equipment.

“Airmen on base would constantly call to ask us if we had discounts for renting multiple items so we came up with this idea to facilitate the acquisition of equipment people need to throw their parties,” Yim said.

Airmen will be able to choose from multiple pack options depending on the size of the event.

“There will be three sizes of party packs,” Howard said. “They will come standard with things like tables, chairs, corn hole, a 10-by-10 foot pop-up tent and football, soccer ball, frisbees, etc.

“Both the medium and large will come with a grill and the large party pack will come with a bounce house as well,” he added. “However, this is the standard set as these party packs are customizable which means that you can add or subtract things to your party pack to make it perfect for what you need. Custom items will depend on availability.”

The party packs have a standard price, but are customizable for an additional price.
